Scope of this Position

  • This position is responsible for incorporating the design principles, manage and participate in analytical and design activities on projects, applying HR industry best practices for resolving complex business issues.
  • In preparing for this role, the candidate will have worked as a consultant for a minimum of 5 - 7 years.
  • The role requires knowledge of Human Resources processes, enterprise portals, intranet and/or extranet solutions and their value proposition.
  • The position reports into the VP, Analysis and Design from a discipline perspective and to the Project Manager from a project perspective.

Job Requirements

  • Provide thought leadership centered on HR processes that are supported by HRIS including but not limited to global strategies and trends.
  • Develop and design HR strategies for business transformation and change management that are tied to the client's enterprise goals.
  • Partner with clients to facilitate transitions in support of the implementation of new HR processes, technologies, systems, and structures.
  • Facilitate HR subject matter interviews and other structured information gathering sessions to provide structure to ill-defined and complex problems.
  • Organize and lead teams with project planning to identify scope and approach in accordance with established project initiatives.
  • Identify and adapt appropriate frameworks and tools, designing solutions in accordance with adoption and governance strategies.
  • Provide optimal analysis, business and functional modeling, and portal design articulation that will deliver the value promised to the client as designs are implemented.
  • Lead business solution designs that can be implemented within constraints of time, budget, technology and client/LDS processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of multiple HR functions; organizational development, HR best practices and principles, HRIS technologies, change management and global business strategies.
  • Experience with the HR issues associated with the outsourcing of portions of IT and/or business processes.

Education:

  • Minimum: Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or related field.
  • Masters degree preferred.

Location: Morristown, NJ or New York City

Travel: Travel to client sites expected (approx. 30%), trade shows and sales prospects as required.
