Scope of this Position

  • This position is responsible for envisioning and elaborating portal solutions within multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • In preparing for this position, the candidate will have worked as a consultant for a minimum of 5 - 7 years.
  • The role requires knowledge of enterprise portal solutions and it's value proposition.
  • Experience with change management-related engagements preferred; experience with knowledge management and training is a plus.
  • The position reports to the VP, Analysis & Design from a discipline perspective and the Project Manager from an engagement perspective.

Job Requirements

Technical Requirements

  • Provide optimal analysis, business and functional modeling, and portal design articulation that will deliver the value promised to the client as designs are implemented.
  • Proficient in modeling processes, scenarios, business & workflow knowledge, functional requirements and design specifications.
  • Facilitate subject matter interviews and other structured information gathering sessions to provide structure to ill-defined and complex problems.
  • Identify and adapt appropriate frameworks and tools, designing solutions in accordance with adoption and governance strategies.
  • Proven ability to frame, and manage the analysis of, complex business solutions
  • Establish strong project level relationships with LDS clients in the areas of web and portal development.
  • Lead the analysis and design as well as, assist with project planning to identify scope and approach.
  • Knowledge of enablers and constraints of technologies for web and portal development.

  • Organize and lead teams in accordance with established project initiatives and is able to quickly evaluate alternatives.
  • Project leadership that effects influence with clients, team members, stakeholders and LDS leadership for successful outcomes.

Education:

  • Minimum - B.S. degree in business, technology, science or related field.
  • Masters degree preferred.

Location: Morristown, NJ

Travel: Travel to client sites expected (approx. 30%), trade shows and sales prospects as needed.
