A Fortune 500 client was deploying a dramatically restructured, high profile, enterprise-wide management process that included the new process itself, a supporting automated application and a Help Desk. They needed to raise awareness among all levels of the enterprise and to prepare managers to drive the new process effectively.
LDS developed an integrated program using both online and offline channels to build awareness, communicate changes, train on the new process and system, and support the user. LDS designed a communications strategy and created all content, including a Flash-based awareness module, emails, CEO speech, and PowerPoint presentations. Online user support included a Web-based process portal that integrates step-by-step process information with transactions, system instructions, and eleven 10-minute training modules focused on the specific management procedures. LDS also developed a half-day global program and Placeware sessions for program rollout, and a highly interactive, two-day manager course designed to enhance their process-related abilities.
A global manufacturing client with over 100,000 employees set a strategic business directive to maximize employee and manager self-service (ESS/MSS) in order to improve HR-oriented process productivity and reduce overall administrative services costs. They also needed to migrate an existing ESS solution from SAP's Workplace technology to SAP's Strategic Portal platform.
LDS analyzed over 100 discreet HR processes and established the requirements necessary to deliver a comprehensive, process-centric solution that integrated supporting and instructional content, policies, procedures, e-learning aids and with SAP's ESS and MSS transactional iViews. We also delivered a robust process that integrated recruiting with on-boarding, combining both ESS and MSS features using LDS' process-centric model. The result was a dramatic increase in successful annual enrollments and a concurrent decrease in overall HR administrative costs.
A Fortune 500 client needed to combine over twenty different expense tracking systems, built upon widely disparate business processes, from across international locations, into a single instance of a new tool. With 40,000 business travelers and 300,000 expense reports each year, the unified expense tracking system represented a potential $2M cost reduction opportunity to the company.
LDS developed and deployed an Adoption Management Program that provided the client with a means of measuring, tracking, and evaluating the extent to which their users adopt and integrate new or existing technology with their current business processes. Finally, we developed a series of remedial steps that included changes to processes and the web site (such as improved navigation and content), and various communication and training programs. We established a feedback loop that enabled the company to track the success of the program's adoption and to inform ongoing improvements.
