Content strategists are still hesitant to think about Artificial Intelligence (AI). Indeed, anyone who isn’t directly building AIs may be intimidated by their undeniable complexity. But best practices in content strategy are conducive to collaboration with AI technology. We just need to be conscious of the parts of our job that help AIs so that we know how indispensable content strategy can be in an AI-first digital experience. Structured content and strong information architecture, for example, provide machines with proper training data. During a recent Content Strategy New Jersey Meetup, LDS explored what AI is and how content strategists can partner with it in content analysis, content design and creation, as well as content maintenance.
