Design Thinking for HR Summit
Lessons Learned from the First Wave
of Digital Transformation

On August 20th, LDS CEO Mimi Brooks presented at the Design Thinking for HR Summit in Chicago to over 120 executives and practitioners. Mimi led a thought-provoking session focused on the lessons learned in the first 10 years of digital transformation.

These first wave efforts focused on acquiring, experimenting, and launching new technologies without building the organizational capabilities, culture, and worker experiences needed to support sustainable change. Mimi cautioned that organizations that simply “buy digital” often find themselves stuck in their digital journey, experiencing the illusion of being digital and a time when becoming digital is critical. The presentation concluded with Mimi’s critical advice on the holistic approach to enabling true business-digital transformation.

We hope that you find some interesting insights in reviewing Mimi’s presentation below and additional supporting collateral made available to everyone who attended the event. The video of Mimi’s presentation will be made available in the coming weeks. In the meantime, if you are interested in arranging an opportunity for Mimi to present to you and your team, please do not hesitate to contact us.
