LDS Attends Gartner’s Digital Marketing Conference

LDS consultants recently attended the Gartner Digital Marketing Conference in San Diego to participate in relevant discussions and gain valuable insight from industry leaders on trends, the emerging role that data and customer experience play in marketing initiatives and how new technologies can be leveraged to communicate with greater success.

We learned more about the clear similarities between the way brands communicate in B2B and B2C environments and the way we need to exchange information inside the enterprise. To be successful, organizations need to know their user segments and provide highly relevant and often just-in-time information through engaging and highly personalized experiences.

What’s more, inside-the enterprise users have come to expect these experiences to look and function at a consumer-grade level. The Gartner conference offered LDS a deeper understanding of industry insights that we will be able to adapt and apply to the challenges we see inside the enterprise.

Highlights from the conference included insight gained in discussions around:

  • Identifying where and how strategies can influence and support the customer journey
  • Applying better user data and predictive tools for a more personalized and engaging experience
  • Orchestrating omni-channel programs, focusing on the few channels that matter most for a successful outcome
  • Integrating mobile strategies as an additional engagement opportunity
  • The role that concepts such as the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR) play in digital marketing.

We look forward to socializing this useful insight within our teams and among both our existing clients and in our upcoming engagements.
