Mimi Brooks on Organizational Transformation and the Employee Experience

On June 22nd, LDS CEO Mimi Brooks led a session at the 2017 15th Annual Change and Transformation Conference in New York, entitled “Organizational Transformation and the Employee Experience.” The session was well-attended by Fortune 500 change leaders, practitioners, and executives, and the following conversation was a lively exchange among thought leaders and experts across industries.

Mimi discussed organizational transformation through the new calculus of digital, explaining why changes in human behavior are as critical as new technology in creating the organization and workforce of the future. She explained how organizations are realizing change through digital strategy and organizational design, and defined new relationships of business consumers to new work and their new digital counterparts.

In the future, workers will partner with machines to create new value. Human work will be defined as those tasks that apply advanced technology or for which people are uniquely suited. Watch Mimi’s address to learn how companies are designing smarter digital employee experiences that both harness and enable this partnership.
